*MISSION*STATEMENT*

The mission and purpose of our church is to be a community church that: Worships together, Encourages and uplifts its fellow members in their spiritual growth and with their daily joys and concerns. Is in discipleship with a "Do and Tell" style of evangelism and mission to the entire world, starting with our local communities and spreading out and through the world.

Prayer

Our father who are in heaven hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespassers as we forgive those who trespass against us, lead us not into temptation but deliver us from every evil for thine is the kingdom the power and the glory forever AMEN.

*Christmas*Friends*

Then in early December any interested churches & persons meet for " Christmas Friends". Envelopes go in each Thanksgiving Basket to families with children. They are asked only the Child's 1st name, age & sex & what they would like for a Christmas gift ( under $25), they usually ask for sizes in case they ask for clothes. When they meet some people will request how many children they or their organization would like to adopt or shop for. As it is an on going ecumenical ministry; there are funds available for people to shop for some of the children. You do not have to buy the items yourself unless you desire to. The gifts are purchased, wrapped, marked only with the child's 1st name & box number ( so the organizers know who they go to) returned to the church for distribution on a Saturday before  Christmas.

They always say " ask & you shall receive"  & around our community it sure has proven true over & over.
God Bless our community!
